Join Us for Meditation. Developing a meditation practice is easier in the company of others. We offer three meditations each week in the Madison metropolitan area – one central, one west, and one east. An introduction to meditation is offered on the 2nd Sunday of each month. All are open to everyone and are ‘drop-in’.

First Fridays of the month, two sitting meditation periods with movement period in between. Other Fridays, 30-minute sitting followed by 10-minute movement meditation and Dhamma discussion or talk. Dhamma discussions are led by Jayson Chung, Richard Ely, and Devin Coogan. Jayson was one of the earliest participants of Madison Insight Meditation Group. He is a student of Matthew Flickstein. 1st, 3rd, 5th Sundays: 45 minutes sitting followed by discussion period. The discussion is led by volunteers from within our our group who offer to lead on a topic of interest to them.
